If Gelo works his way back on track that will be as impressive. UCLA incident set him back but everyone's path is different.

What's up with Gelo in the G League?? Saw he had that one big game early on but last few games he hasn't played. I don't believe he's injured.

Ok man, like Chris Smith and Thanasis Antetokounmpo didn't have NBA roster spots.

Thananis was a pro in Europe and drafted before Giannis blew up/had that power.

Chris Smith played high D-1 ball. It was aggregious…but they could “somehow” justify it.

Gelo for the longest, was never even close to pro. He’s gotten alot better tho. And might have a shot now.

Now the most Wild example - Not only as far as Star status (or lack thereof) goes, but for flat out not being close to nba level is Paul Milsap and his brother.

John played 2 years of low d1 basketball. Was about average. And somehow, ended up on multiple Paul Milsap camps/g leagues/nba benches. In Utah….AND ATL. The Utah one was crazy, considering it was only Paul Milsap Rookie year, and he wouldn’t have ANY pull. The ATL one was funny, as it was 5 years later.

The Milsap family has 3 NBA players too.
