The Flash (CW Series) thread, season 9

You know they gonna undo or resurrect Iris somehow.

Gotta say Flash really didn't do enough to prevent her death imo.

Chunk of the ep was filler to have it end with OH of course I have a solution to this weapon that imprisoned me, boom stab Iris.

Was cool to have Snart in the ep.

Too much dumb reasoning though; Gov. friend won't give you alien energy source, you break in and steal it, get caught but cuz she saw you not kill anybody and save Snart you can have it.

I don't think iris is dead. If you saw midseason when Cisco vibes him to the future everyone was at scene including HR with a gun but in this episode he wasn't there? I think he used the same tool that Barry used to break into the building.
In other words HR gave up his life

So you're saying that they switched places before going to Earth-2?

There's no way they switched before Earth 2. Iris and Joe were reminiscing about things HR wouldn't know of. The only way HR could have took her place would be while Barry was using the Speed Force Bazooka against Savitar. Clearly HR has done or is going to do something huge to help out though.

yeah, i wanna know how they're gonna resurrect Iris.

i was kinda having some kinds of feels when Iris was saying her vows while we were watching Barry running.....

ok, moment passed.....

are they gonna make her stay dead in the season finale (until next season anyway)?

is the season finale next week already? if not, how many more episodes?

Its the day she's gonna die and there's just not enough urgency. I mean Savitar learns if Iris location by a dumb HR mistake? Like it didn't even have to be Savitar. If he told Barry, Savitar would get the memory too.

Noticed Julian wasn't in the episode.

Definitely think it wasn't Iris but Barry really believed that it was which makes sense because if he knew it wasn't her, Savitar would know too.

HR's last words to Sisco implies it would be him who took her place, possibly during the cannon scene.

But what I don't like is how Barry let Sisco go after Kaitlyn knowing she freezes and shatters his arms. He could've told him not to go and what would happen if he did. Sisco wasn't even going to go. What kind of friend is that? Smh

Waste of an episode just to basically show us the same **** they've been showing us all season. 20 something episodes is killing this show. Every show should adopt the multiple arcs in a season.

I think they are just playing it safe in case they'd have to cancel after the first season, as mentioned in the article, with the multi-verse anything is possible and linking it shouldn't be too difficult or a stretch.

Should have just said nothing until a crossover happened.

Anyone else noticed that a speedster killed a loved one of the flash the episode before the finale?

Deja vu.

If they didn't say anything then the audience might have expected him to be part of the next crossover and they probably want to avoid it and it does look like that was one of the main point since it was mentioned there is a 4-show crossover, not 5.

I mean the dude that said it was at a CW upfront in front of reporters, he was asked and he could either deny and disappoint later or just say it straight up and disappoint now, I think being straight up with it is better than playing coy and giving the audience a "may or may not" vague answer.

Just got to see how the show is and go from there.

Low key Barry is a dummy that doesn't think things through.

Big mistake. What was the point of having it on CW if it wasn't going to be part of Arrowverse. At this point I can point to 2 show that are only surviving because of the inevitable crossover with other DC shows.
Yeah, it never was. Its like Supergirl in that respect. It was intended to be in a different network so naturally it's not a part of the Arrowverse.

However, they're gonna do a multi universe crossover if the show is a hit.

Plus they don't have to kill the other show's momentum by forcing Black Lightning into their plots

Man y'all picked up on that HR taking Iris spot quick :lol

Yeah that's my theory too. HR sacrifices himself to save Iris and the team which then motivates the scientist girl to fully complete and build the cannon with enough power to stop savitar.

Gotta say the reveal was weak IMO. Savitar is just a Flash created clone that goes mad. I mean better than the real version but hands down best reveal was S2s masked man being Jay Garrick, although the Eobard Thawne/Harrison Wells reveal and backstory was cool too.

I'm waiting to see Flash incorporate reverse Flash suit in a ring tech.

damn... ya'll want they ring incorporated already....

I just want him to get a new suit.... LOL
