The Flash (CW Series) thread, season 9

Probably the most annoying arc was Caitlyn. My powers make me evil, oh nooooooo. Now she's back to being good WITH powers.

Still don't understand the science behind Ice Powers = Evil. Sure they would make her physically cold but emotional? Really? IF that was the cause shouldn't Cisco have multiple personalities or something?

Killer Frost was always evil but still, a bit of Caitlyn left inside.
And how she just get normal in the last minute out of nowhere?
She's already been able to control it and be normal but has been choosing not too. Two or three episodes back when cisco reminded her when they were a team her eyes went normal in the elevator.

She's also mentioned to the cast that the contacts make it really hard to see while shooting scenes, so her eyes will be normal now I guess? Not sure how they'll put that one off.

is it just me of did black flash being weak to coldness to a point where he/it dies once frozen came out of nowhere?

when that happened I was just like "really?"

that bugged the hell out of me more

It really felt like they just threw that in there to give killer frost some value

The 2 personalities for Caitlyn and Killer Frost never made sense. Still doesn't. I'm repeating myself but nothing about cold powers says you should have a completely different personality.

As for Barry, yeah **** just don't make sense and writers didn't want it too. I bet half the mystery of next season is gonna be about what Barry saw or did in the speed force to explain why he wasn't in torturous pain.

I also think they should've fully explained what happened to future Barry to force him to create the time remnant and what was going on at the time for the rest of the team to shun him for not being the orignal.

Since you know HR changed the future and none of those things will happen the same way.

Season was bad. Could've been worse

That's the problem with time travel it's wonky.

For example you go back in time and kill your grandparents, then your erased, but if you're erased how'd you go back in time to kill them anyways?

Savitar was a damaged time remnant that Barry created when he was fighting Savitar but then the real Barry was killed so the remnant replaced him but he was shunned for not being real thus leading him to become Saviter. Capisce?

I honestly missed the connection/them saying time remnant Barry was created when Barry was trying to find a way to kill Savitar despite the scene when Barry figured out Savitar was a time remnant Barry (they never were clear on when since 8 years in the future that Barry was alive and beat Savitar without dying).

If that's the case then the writer's really put no thought in to the plot twist. The black death speedster should've been after Savitar as much as it was after Thawne over in LoT.

Or they could've at least lied/made something up about the suit being able to stop the speedster from sensing him.

Given it's like 23 eps in a season they could've had something where Wally comes in to his own as the Flash.

That entire trailer didn't even have the actual main villain. Nothing threatening or hyped in it.
