First ballot though? I stand corrected, I think he gets in but not a first ballot.

When I look at the list of first ballot CB's that made it in, I see names like Deion, Darrell Green (sup Collector), Mel Blount, Willie Brown, Rod Woodson and Ronnie Lott. Granted the last two are safeties, but I'm not sure I see Revis like them legends...

Granted I know it's harder to do it in this era than the era that them dudes played, but iunno...first ballot is for them living (God willing) legends...

Still think he got more to prove before he can be a guarantee first ballot...this season ain't helping lol

rod Woodson was a great corner for years before he was ever a safety. Didn't switch to Safety till he got old. Don't know how he's known as a safety.

Also....the 2014 draft class of receivers has to be the GOAT already.

Beckham
Evans
Allen Robinson
Watkins
Kelvin
Jarvis Landry
Cooks
Jordan Matthews
Moncrief
Martavis Bryant
John Brown
Allen Hurns
Willie Snead

Ridiculous....

don't think any of them get in.

What more does he have to prove? He's probably the best or 2nd best CB in a generation.

2007 draft is going to produce 5 for sure HOFers

Joe Thomas

Willis
Revis

I wasn't talking about them going to the HOF, just was saying it had to be the greatest receiver draft ever. But you're really saying after two seasons that none of them will make the HOF? :lol especially Beckham whose had like the greatest start to his career of any receiver ever...

Something would have to go terribly wrong for Beckham to not keep heading towards a HOF career

don't think any of them get in.

I mean, we're 2 years in :lol

Odell is a legend in the making minus injury.

State vs Oklahoma then gotta wake up to the Steelers [emoji]128551[/emoji][emoji]128551[/emoji][emoji]128551[/emoji][emoji]128551[/emoji]

Can my heart take it?

I mean in the same vein, after just 2 years you're ready to proclaim it as the best class EVER.

I know it's a fairly comment sentiment with the particular group but despite being good for 10 - 12 FF points right now, a quarter of that list might not even be in the league in 5 years.

Which quarter out that list could you see being out of the league in 5 years?

Would have to be a wizard to foresee such things. I don't know.

Wasn't the point though. Just pointing out what I see as a logical fallacy.

I don't see how you can point to only 2 seasons being enough to suit your argument, while at the same time using it to discredit the opposing view.

I mean what I'm saying is probably about 9 of them out of that list would rank amongst the top 20 or so receivers in the league right now...that's unheard of for one draft class to produce basically half of the top 20 at one position.

Class is super deep and barring any injury/off field stuff (seems to be happening already to Watson and Bryant) most of those guys have chances at being some of the best of their generation.

Especially OBJ/Evans/Kelvin/Robinson.

JaMarcus would've been the goods if he had a better head on his shoulders and didn't get addicted to lean.

That class was HEAVY though.
