I never really liked the GR teals for some reason and now I know why... the white midsole makes such a huge difference...

Here is two pairs of cleats I have fortunate to keep around. One is the retailed version and another I believe is a sample with nubuck material. By the way theG8s are one of the most underrated griffey shoes/cleats. Sorry about the quality don't know where the camera is at. The other stuff will have to wait untilI find the camera. I kinda feel bad I'm not doing these cleats justice with this horrible quality. Nevertheless I present the G8's. (Note: I also havethe navy version of the cleats, and the white/red and black/silver shoes.)

haha, nothing against the teal on the uppers of those AGM1's... its the black outsole that kills it for me... the white PE's though... damn.

Wow. It's totally an updated cleated version of the Griffey 2's. It looks a lot different since they're using the modern full length midsole, butyou can definitely see the similarities...

Damn for a second I was almost convinced they were a new model. However they do look like the Griffey 2's. Thats not bad at all because they were just asnice as the first ones. The new midsole nike is using on its cleats makes the style of retros look alot different.
Question for you guys.
What is the potential of Nike releasing some griffey retros in the future? Both cleat and shoe version. Is there enough of an audience out there for Nike toeven bother?

Nike knows that the public wants the Air Griffey Max I retro. As far as cleat form, I doubt they'd bother with that.
