great thread last time...many great contributors who will hopefully do the same again.

2010 MLB free agents - MLBTR's up-to-date list is below. These are players who are eligible for free agency after the 2009 season. The player's 2010 age is in parentheses and Scott Boras clients are bolded. I've included projected Type A or B status. Current free agents who have not yet signed are not on this list.

Reds named Bryan Price new pitching coach...i like the hire, he'll have some nice young arms to work with.

Jaramillo...don't know too much about him, but Texas hits...so...

They hit fine in 2008 with Gerald Perry and quickly booted him in 2009 once the team went south.

So the Cubs are about to find out just how important a hitting coach really is...too bad they're gonna spend 2.4 million dollars to find out

Could you imagine if Chapman and Darvish came over the same offseason?

Chapman i don't know though, i mean you can't deny his attributes...but will he be able to put it all together?

And C'mon Rays let Crawford walk...Pads need to be ALL OVER him if he is a FA. perfect for Petco Park...

Logged out of the backup....

The Padres will probably continue to dump some salary. I doubt they will even pursue going after a player like Crawford, who is going to command a raisethis off season.

With the new ownership and a new GM coming in, I expect them to try and make some moves to get the fans behind them, pulling someone like Crawfordwould be huge, but like you said, he is gonna have a HUGE deal this year if TB doesn't bring him back...

Could see that as well, i'd definitely be alright with that happening...his speed would definitely be given a showcase in this ballpark + SF andColorado...plus brother in the division

And I might be the only one but it wouldn't surprise me to see Wily Mo Pena have a breakout year this year...

Polanco is definitely gone. He's a type A so the Tigers get a supplemental pick from him...

Mariners, Cubs, Dodgers and Rangers gogin after Japanese pitcher Yusei Kikuchi apparently a top 5 pitcher. 88-95 MPH fast ball, curve ball, slider, screw ball.compared too Clayton Kershaw, Mechanics are solid, doesn't throw as hard as Yu Darvish but I am more confident in his long term arm health.

Yeah OKB, I was going through pics and was just about to ask who the hell is this runt.

Japanese schoolboy Yusei Kikuchi speaks during a news conference in Hanamaki, northern Japan October 20, 2009, after completing meetings with eight MajorLeague Baseball clubs and all 12 Japanese domestic teams. Kikuchi may leave his decision on whether to sign a multi-million dollar deal with a MLB club up tohis parents.

Rangers don't have a shot in hell. And damn the Pads need to make a big run at one of these Japanese starters sometime, big group of Asian-Americans herein SD, Aki was HIGHLY LOVED by everyone, and the WBC always draws big crowds when the Asian teams play.
