How much were the tix?
The McLaren P1 is insanely fast. In fact, with a top speed of 217 mph, the P1 is one fastest cars money can buy.
But McLaren is not a company to rest on its laurels. They've decided to make the P1 faster, more powerful, and much, much more expensive by building the P1 GTR. In an interesting twist, the GTR will only be available to the 375 very wealthy and very lucky individuals who own the original P1 street car.
When I say much more expensive, I mean $2 million more expensive. While a run-of-the-mill P1 came with a price tag of roughly $1.2 million, the GTR will require the buyer to write a $3.2 million check.
The P1 GTR is the latest in a recent wave of track-ready hypercars, such as the Ferrari FXX, Ferrari 599XX, and Pagani Zonda R. Like others in this segment, the GTR will not be street legal. Instead it will be constructed purely for track-based fun.

20th Anniversary McLaren F1 Parade Looks Set For 2015 Le Mans Race Day
on 25/10/2014 00:26 in Latest News, Le Mans News
The 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours will mark 20 years since the historic win on its debut by the Mclaren F1 GTR.
To celebrate DSC can confirm that there are moves afoot to gather as many of the 28 racing McLaren F1s together as possible for an on-track parade headed by the new and soon to be (properly) revealed McLaren P1 GTR.

Nine race cars cars were produced in 1995 with a further nine upgraded cars the following year before the rapid development in the GT1 class saw it necessary to produce a much more radical restyle in 1997, the ‘Longtail’ of which 10 were built.
Not all of the cars are understood to be available but plans currently should see more than 20 cars gathering, including the race cars now converted for road use.
I am absolutely in love with Ferrari's design's. Really the 458 to me is just perfect, the F12 looks stunning and I would even gladly buy a California one day.
But that P1.... To me has to be one of the best looking cars of all time. Everything about it's design just looks flawless. They got the perfect blend of aggressive design and subtlety so it still taps into the little boy inside your brain wanting a crazy car, but still tame enough to mature very well with age.
^i think that p1 belongs to a player on some la baseball team. That gulf paint job is just amazing. It's an MSO I believe
