In my humble opinion, I agree with the sentiment that woodley absolutely did himself no favors with the specifics of his arguements. He also did himself no favors with his hesitance to fight wonderboy in the first place

However by all measures he's a stand up individual and as many reporters and people who know, he's nothing but sincere, respectful and professional. So I absolutely give weight to his claims about race. I just wish he'd give specific examples and come up with a better arguement

I prefer Ariel's arguments which I said a few months earlier on here. UFC not really trying to grow their demographic the right way. To say they're not trying would be a fallacy. It's just the way they market/promote their fighters. But there's definitely an untapped Hispanic/Black/Asian market.

Tyrone looked foolish after the terrible treatment Amanda Nunez got. She got crapped on in the buildup to that last card.

I'm just wondering whose responsibility it is to promote the fighters? Is it there's or the promotion? They definitely have some dudes that could steal the shine off boxing if they wanted.

When you boil it down they do not like each other (more so Cody not liking tj)

Cody is crazy. Blindly loyal to Uriah and will fiercely go after anyone who opposes or who they see as undermining. He was ready to choke conor. Ready to actually get down with Cruz and Stephens before the fight

It'll be real emotion during the show imo

Helwani made a great point on his show with a subtle suggestion of racial favoritism:

Had it been Maia and Woodley that went to a draw with Wonderboy waiting in the wind, UFC might've given the next shot to Wonderboy.

I absolutely think that would've happened.

100% agree with this. Hell, they most likely would have considering how hard it was for Maia to even get the shot.
