That would be an ill rematch. Wasn’t Connor hurt that fight?

Feel like Blessed Era would wash Connor in a five round fight. But Connor always has those insane 1.5 first rounds and touch of death left.

Hope they are able to at least make Ortega-Edgar.
A Swanson-Nate fight would be entertaining but Cub would be at a huge disadvantage due to height and reach. Nate would likely be able to keep him at distance and get a late tko or eventually a sub.

FOH! Aldo got KO'd by current sitting champs. And won in a landslide victory against the current #2 contender.

Anthony Pettis hasn't won a fight against a top 10 guy in 3 yrs, and is 2-5 in that span.

Y'all be so reckless with the 'washed' term. :smh:
 
Still good, sure but we're talking about a guy who didn't lose for a decade and he wasn't out here skating by, he was destroying basically everyone.

When you go from being that to being brutally finished 3x in 4 fights, what are you?

If you want to make an argument for who's more washed, it's obviously Pettis but imo washed is washed.
 
How is 'washed' equal to be the #1 contender in a division you dominated for 10yrs?

A loser. Not the Champ any more. He only lost to 2 guys....after successfully clearing the division for the most part.

Aldo would need to slide to at least #6 before I can consider him 'washed' or any fighter for that matter. You can't be #1 / Top5 AND 'washed'. **** is an oxymoron by definition.

We gotta see what Aldo’s chin and cardio looks like in his next fight (if he even fights again) but the fact that he easily beat Frankie, who would probably or already has beat everybody else in the division, would suggests he’s not necessarily washed. He just slowed down with age and can’t beat the two best guys in the division at this point.

Pettis on the other hand would lose to most of the top 10 in his division. He’s definitely washed

Also, Aldo is only 31, he's not really that old.

I'm not really excited about the prospect of the Diaz-Twood fight though many sources are reporting it could be close. Twood would likely take him down with ease like when Nate fought Rory.

Yeah, we can use the former 'not as good' as a descriptor. :lol: I don't think he's gotten enough Ls, especially from those ranked below him, to be considered washed.
