I don't think izzy tries to play a character like Colby or Conor though who are actually trying to do like a theatrical promotion, he's just being himself which a lot of people see as an a hole lol

He doesn't have the wit or cleverness to talk **** well that's for sure. Either way he's at least making people care one way or the other which is still an element of promotion

Edit: also i forgot to mention I like how puts his other teammates on and try to promote them. You can tell they are all cool with each other at CKB

I mean, Figgy and Sterling are much more unlikable to me than Izzy, but maybe that isn't saying much lol

Jorge and Colby for sure are up there as well

Vetorri and Costa if they're considered "superstars" are horrendous

Yea Max is so scared to fight Volk that he offered to fight Khabib on less than a weeks notice. While Volk will be a huge favorite against KZ he shouldn't get too cocky when he barely beat Max and IMO lost their 2nd fight. Doubt Max will pay much attention to this.

I like Izzy. Brother from Nigeria (along with the other brothers and MMA atheletes) shows the continent of Africa could be a gold mine for future mix Martial arts talent if tapped into (just not in the creepy JRE or get out way).

His gift of gab isn’t quite like Chael or Conor. At his height, Conor was on the same level as a Rock or Ric Flair. My issue with Chael is he plagiarized Billy Graham, etc. Izzy doesn’t quite reach CCC or Colby cringe levels. But he definitely says some dumb stuff here or there.

Glad he’s one of the highest paid athletes in MMA. Whatever that means

Rob is a quiet, no nonsense type. He really fits in the description of quiet professional.

We’ve seen Izzy in different scenarios. Wars like with Kelvin. Weird Anime striking exchanges with Anderson. Deal with grapplers like black Haired Brunson, Vettori, etc.

It’ll be interesting to see what approach Rob takes.

I always think fighters have to have that egotistical attitude because they have to think they are the best. Look at Rhonda, Joanna, Jon Jones, etc. Not a lot of modest champs out there.

If Rob wins, they definitely have to run it back and if he wins the trilogy, it would escalate him to a whole new level than where he's even at right now.

As far as Izzy and Usman not fighting each other. My thoughts would be at some point once Izzy is done with the division he gives up the belt and goes up to 205, and at that point Usman can become double champ if he wants it.
