But Colby got the best base in MMA:wrestling.
This wasn’t as bad as Woodley/Covington, Covington/Lawler, etc.
But the top tier WWs all have that wrestling base. Colby, Usman…lesser extent Leon, Belal and Burns. You got a beast like Chimaev. Brady.
Also Kevin Holland. His success going to be the same at WW. Way too many grapplers.

You knew what it was. Quick cash grab by the UFC. Masvidal as one of the top draws. The drama and grudge match. It’ll probably perform better than the Lewis/Gane card.

No. He just knows he can’t fight for the title. He lost to Usman for the second time last November.
Might as well setup “money” fights. Masvidal. Porier.

Covington used his strengths well, took that shot in the 4th round and didn't flounder.

Wish we would of seen Colby fight burns or Leon instead from a competitive standpoint. Jorge talked all that smack just to get humped for 25 mins smh

hopefully last night was the end of the top of the division being gridlocked by colby, usman, and masvidal (burns title shot aside). mas living off that knee along with a win over washed nate for 3 years and colby beating up on old men with name value on a slide got them fools two title shots ridiculous.

Yet another Usman- Someone 2.
Bobby Knuckles strung together three wins prior to his second title fight. WW really isn’t that shallow that Masvidal and Covington got second title shots. One came off the title loss and was gifted another shot. The other beat a washed up ex champ. Not saying Colby isn’t the second best WW but can we at least see it?
I give Burns credit for trying to grind back to a rematch.

Love watching Marina Rodriguez's striking. They need to hurry up and book Rose/Carla cause Marina should have next up. Would hate to see her have to take another fight just to take one.

(hopefully).
Man that Bryce showcase was reminiscent of what Khabib did to Barbosa. That was so damn impressive. Would love to see him fight that next tier of Zabit, Ortega, or Emmetts of the world.
