I think either of the 2 gatekeepers would be great fights. I’d imagine it’s much harder winning at middle then going down to welter, so I’d prefer he tries to handle biz at 170 first despite the issues he had with this cut. It’s maybe better in way to find out sooner than later if he really just can’t make 170 anymore.

Vettori hasn’t fought in a min. Quick turn around to fight Vettori isn’t bad. He wins…it sets up a challenger for Izzy.
Covington since they have to run back the Usman/Edwards fight. Could easily throw that on the December card.
I’m leaving Shawn Brady out because he has a fight with Belal. And it cannabilizes an up and coming challenger. Can’t front. 170 has a decent amount of depth unlike MW.

Vettori just lost to Whittaker last week. And it wasn’t really close, so I’d personally like to see Khamzat fight Whittaker if he’s fighting at MW. Khamzat took no damage I’d imagine he can fight again soon too.

Not a bad prospective for Whitaker. UFC needs to offer him Costa or Khamzat. Khamzat should be offered Costa (who is on the last fight of his contract hmmm), Whitaker or Covington. Dana held censored himself yesterday due to the “circumstances” of yesterday’s card. Yeah, it was the MMA equivalent of tanking a card and doing fighters dirty (Tony and Nate).
Listened to the MMAFighting and Luke Thomas Post Fight shows. They both didn’t think it was a huge robbery for Leech. And Khamzat is the scariest first round fighter ever (I wouldn’t disagree).
