I feel like his last two fights were the Pereira and Smith fights. Does he have a wrestling game? Surprised he didn’t try to mix it up in later rounds.

Props to him and Alex for fighting at altitude. And he’s definitely a name at LHW now. He’s got a lot of options. Jan, Reyes, Hill, Jiri, etc.

Yeah definitely, I think that's probably why the UFC isn't rushing to book that fight.

The UFC/MMA is better with Alex as champ, its been fun and they want to keep the party going. I get it.

Its just so many more exciting, fan friendly fights on the table for him right now...gotta strike while the iron is hot.

Alex definitely the fighter of the year and MVP of the UFC currently.

Not to say Ilia or Max can’t become major stars next week. But they’re going to be back seat to Alex.

I think, for us, UFC should ratchet up the hype and excitement starting Jan PPV. I just can’t see them not posturing for their US impending streaming deal.
