Honestly, HW will be in shambles when he retires. The only division worse than HW is women's bantamweight lol. HW is followed by LHW.

IF Alex were to beat the winner of Rakic/Ankalaev then he would have cleaned LHW out. We'd just be getting rematches or questioning the choices like we did this past weekend.

Tommie Boy is in a similar situation, Gane is really the only person he hasn't beaten on the road to interim. Almeida got derailed with his last loss.

I think that's why the timing of Alex/Tom is dependent of fall/winter FY24. From what I hear, they're going to begin stacking their PPVs and promoting again to ensure they can raise the price on their next streaming deal.

Magomed Ankalaev is the top contender and probably biggest challenger at LHW.

His fight with Rakic is in a few weeks.

So they could legitimately setup a title fight for March. But...what's more important to the UFC? A LHW title fight or Poatan challenging for his third title/weight division.

Tbh at the rate pereira is at , I wouldn’t be surprised if he saves another card this year

She looks great. She has abs and looks toned.

She dog walked Julianna in their last fight.

Kayla is saying she had injuries, plus it’s a crazy cut. But striking wise, she’d get whipped by Amanda. The question is how good is Kayla’s wrestling. Keitlin (sp) stopped it a few times. Julianna can wrestle too. And even as awkward as it was, her striking got that dawg in her. It’s not technical but technically it works.

Would love to see Alex/Tom sometime in 25'. However, I know if JJ says he wants Alex after his fight against Stipe then the UFC does whatever they can to make that fight happen. With media deal negotiations heating up next year they want as many big fights as possible.

Watched this cat fight. It was a major cage clinch fest. He did finish it in the first with his hands. Just don’t see a real collision course unless they either Michael Chandler (fight a top 10 then challenge for the title) or Poatan (three fights than challenge for the title). Could in a year’s time, Artem beat someone in the lame top ten? Sure.

Re-booking the Hill fight makes the most sense for Rountree at this juncture imo. Then if not I could see them giving him Magomed-Rakic loser or potentially Oezdemir-Ulberg winner. At this point he could be 3rd fight on a PPV or headlining fight nights outside the apex. Khalil's stock has really shot up even in defeat.
