Gaylord Hotels/Convention Center is hiring for ALOT of positions...when it opens in early 2008 it will be the Largest Convention Center on the East Coast

Yeah the National Harbor is going to be a destination. I want to get office space there, but they are only leasing office space and not offering office condos.As a real estate investor I am dead set against renting anything.

I even looked at buying a condo there, but with twin 2 year old boys the condo just aren't big enough for those little boogers. I think I'll keep mysingle family house and big back yard.

Convention centers are the biggest waste of taxpayers money. I'm mad they take over $600 million to build a thing that will NEVER sell out for the entireyear. Costs are way too high for these things and they do not bring in the revenues that are projected.

This aint some new development they puttin up in Eastover...this is a BIG TIME project thats been in development for almost 10 years now. So many differentpowerful people are behind this project, if you think these wild childs in the area are going to make that the new hang out spot and run it down...yall gotanother thing coming. Add that with the ever changing demographics in the area and I don't even see how yall think its possible that it would be messed up.

Lol...they're already booked with events until 2010. I also spoke with their Celebrity Services Coordinator back during the hiring event andthey're already deep in clientèle...good guess tho...
