To me yea. Couldnt finish inside besides 2 dunks, has NO vision & takes dumb unnecessary shots cuz of it

I love how Simmons affects the game.( One of the reason I liked him more than Ingram). but I need him to be more assertive on offense..I don't even care if he misses at this point..just take the shot.

Man I love his game. I'm old school and can appreciate a throwback pg. Sadly, those are rare nowadays. If you're a pg that would rather quarterback a team, and not score 20 you're almost considered garbage nowadays.

In highschool..oh he can shoot but he doesn't need to... it's highschool.
at LSU...oh he can't shoot, but he doesn't need to....team misses tournament.
Summer league...still won't shoot.
At some point we have to accept that he can't and won't shoot, maybe he learns but right now? non shooter.
Also struggling finishing against real NBA length but that was predictable.

I hope so too..but you would think if you use SL too work on your game..he would be taking more shots because that's the weakest part of his game..I rather him be working on his shot now than in the regular season..but I'm not going to overreact I'm just going to wait and see how he preform when the season starts.

I was gonna just say that Ben Simmons has been shown that he's been a great passer and good defender, but he leaves more to be desired as a scorer. Not reliable in clutch situations. Hopefully he can improve his jumpshot.

This is my only problem with him, otherwise he's obviously a generational talent.
