Is this upcoming draft supposed to be that great? Seen a lot of talk about it, but I don't see it outside of Fultz and maaaybe Ball.

Markkanen- More athletic Kelly Olynyk? Taller, better shooting Morris twin?
Personally, I think Jackson, Tatum & Smith are going to be really good to all-star level NBA players. I like my chances with those guys a bit more than Ball.Is this upcoming draft supposed to be that great? Seen a lot of talk about it, but I don't see it outside of Fultz and maaaybe Ball.
Don't disrespect my guy like this.

Haha, what do you think though? I feel like he's a tough one. Worst case scenario, he's a really good rotational player and has a long career. Stroke is too nice.
I think that's fair. Kelly seems like he's moving in quicksand most of the time, so I wanted to emphasize that Lauri was a much more athletic version . I think his skill set definitely translates to a PF. Bosh is an interesting comp. Like you said, he's not the rebounder that Bosh was and he isn't the defender, but Bosh really wasn't a good defender until he got to Miami.Thing is kelly, is he's a very good shooter with a low release.
Markken strikes me as a lights out dude, with a really versatile jumper, pick and pop, off screens, everything he's shoots it at a high level.
I think he's can play PF.
I think he's closer to a Chris Bosh type, than an Olynyk type. maybe if he can improve his rebounding.
different era though. I just want to see how Ball is going to play PNR basketball
One of the things Issacs does best right now is play defense actually ...his versatility of checking guys on the perimeter and still protecting the rim is what's adding to his value along with his jumper ...he's like a 7 footer who's playing inside/outside not hard to see why the scouts like himhell at least tony can guard the wing, who is he gonna guard?Man if this kid Issac goes #4
I'm calling now, his game won't translate to the league. He looks the part.
Tony Snell
Y'all the main two I was talking to. Calling it now, kid won't do anything in the league. Quote and save that fellas. Jump shot shaky as hell. So who does he guard in the league on a nightly bases? Y'all sending him out there to guard the 4 every night?Man if this kid Issac goes #4

Jon Isaac is the GOODS.
Top 5 sounds about right. If he slips past there....he's a steal. Dude is 6'11....close to 7 feet and is a really good defender. Showing toughness on the glass too.
Isaacs ability to stretch the floor...switch out on the perimter and protect the rim is SCARY. Dude is one of the biggest reasons for FSU's great season so far.
You didn't peep the game against UNC? Or how about when my dog met Tatum and the summit and sent that ****

What good PG in the league doesn't have a legit/dangerous mid-range game though? What is going to happen when someone guards Ball tight and he can't just jack up 3s. He could potentially get by the defender, but he isn't going to get the easy looks around the rim like he is now with all of the big bodies and shot blockers in the league. Mid-range is a must for a lead guard.Different era, but that argument works against what you are trying to say...this era values the 3pt and layups/ dunks waaay more than J Kidds era of mid-range shots.
I didn't think I would have to pay close attention to the draft given the way the first month of the Lakers went, but since December....pmatic its time for the 2017 NBA Draft Thread mane....
Last night's game-This is the first highlight I've seen of him and it looks like his length is his only advantage. He doesn't seem like he's great at anything and seems to be moving a little slow. I personally don't see it either (JUST based off of this game)

After last night, I'm officially okay saying I think Issac is head-and-shoulders the 2nd best prospect after Fultz.
That size/fluidity doesn't come around often. You see when his shot is falling how effortless the buckets look for him. And he's only 19 and he can shoot, so his shot will just keep getting better.
I think this is a good draft and there are a lot of guys who will have very good careers but there are a lot of guys who are tricky to peg and have a glaring flaw.
Like Josh Jackson is great but I don't think him or even Fox will ever evolve into competent shooters and its hard to put those guys on the court in today's NBA.
John Wall would like to have a word with you sirOnly seen highlights but I'm sold on ball. Bruh has hella game. I want to dislike him because of that ugly as jumper but I can't..Kid is nice as hell. He just jumps off the screen. For me personally I haven't seen a PG prospect as exciting/electric since D rose
