The NBA Draft Thread

I'm going to say 7 guards go in the top 10.  Fultz, Smith, Ball, Fox, Monk, Ntlikina and Ferguson

Top 8 is really the sweet spot in this draft

Fultz
Ball
Dennis
Markannen
Issac
Tatum
Jackson
Monk

Draft is so much better than last year.

Thank god the Knicks lost their pick last year (Jakob Poetl) at 9 and not this year.

Just need KP to take the year off and Melo trade and we good 8o
This reminds me of the 2014 draft. Eight prospects really stood out from the rest of the field (Wiggins, Jabari, Embiid, Randle, Gordon, Exum, Smart and Vonleh).

If their staff is so good and they're close with all these top prospects then why does the rest of their team suck so bad?

The team was suppose to be good this season . Two freshmen went to the draft last year that weren't High school All Americans and the staff didn't plan to replace them in time .

They will be decent next season, because the team will be more than just Mike Porter

Right , like they got more money than the better programs

I'm just joking man, relax.

I know with Fultz specifically, Romar was on him long before any other major programs thanks to his DMV connects.

It obviously meant a lot in the long run.

At the end of the day you're just putting us in better position to get the #4 pick.

:lol keep wishing that, we'll be alone in 2nd place cause Miami plays Brooklyn next and 3x in the next 3 weeks as well as the Sixers twice which is a win-win either way for us.

Na I'm in love with the class overall. Lots of diverse talent, lots of guys with an array of tools. Contrasting prospects.. what a time

Steve Francis pre-health issues and inner demons seem like a decent comp for Dennis Smith?

that's a good comparison as fas far player profile on the surface. similar physical and athletic attributes.

smith seems like much more of a floor general tho

I can see explosive/shiftiness wise.

Keep Dennis away from the Henny and he's eventually going to be one of the top 5 athletic guards in the league.

Francis was a wizard ball handler no? That's the only thing keeping me from direct comp but I've definitely used that earlier this year
