Props to the players for forcing the leagues hand but this is why it's hard buy that the league all of a sudden gives a **** now after all these years >D

Also wish the players had shown the same amount of solidarity from the offset when Kaep and Reid first set things off but I do understand that the league dynamics were a little different back then. Now you've got black QB's being some of the most recognizable and influential faces of the league

to be fair, some of these guys weren’t in the league.. gotta remember kaep hasn’t played since 2016

but QBs getting behind the message drives football, since they’re the most known faces.. especially that QB, cause aint no just replacing him

hell still ain’t a big deal that marshawn just sits

But then again ain’t much situations I can think of where kneeling is seen as a sign of disrespect

Yea that's what I meant by the power dynamics in the league being a little different back then. You had some players supporting thee cause but it felt like there were a lot more sitting on the fence and trying not to rock the boat too much due to fear of public backlash.

Now there seems to be a much more unified front and more consensus on the players side which is likely a result of some of the most popular players in the league right now being Black QB's.

On the topic, Shanahan was spitting facts the other day in regards to the league's appalling lack of minorities in executive and HC positions...

Basically took the anti-Fangio route

Haven't been in here awhile but yall know how damn proud I am to have Patty Mahomes as my QB. Couldn't ask for a better leader and face of the franchise. Still hard to grasp sometimes that the best player and face of the league plays for the Chiefs.

So, this is fun......

I think my favorite part is when they took a break at 14-16.

26..... :nerd:

23

Teddy B at 18????????? I like Teddy, but league redraft, 18?

What's so funny about Darnold in NE? This "Darnold sucks" narrative you have as a Dolphin fan... I ain't bothering to entertain it.
