And the Pats D is NOT the worst D in the league. Stats dont tell the whole story. We have playmakers and led the AFC in take-aways.

Dont believe everything ESPN tells you fambs. The Ravens D is tired. Theres no stopping Brady and Co.

YPG don't tell the whole story rather. We were middle of the pack in points allowed and have one of the better red zone defenses in the L. Dudes step up and make plays when their number is called.

Unlike that Packers D.

Hernandez is gonna be a huge problem for Baltimore to match up on, running from the I, as a true TE, or split out like WR, he's gonna wreak havoc on that defense

I think people are getting caught up in the game against Denver, during the regular season they were barely getting by some awful games. They smashed an awful Denver team and the Ravens aren't that team. Pats defense is still trash and played well against an AWFUL offense. Will be a good game, I have no idea who to even pick in this one.

But they did it having an awful day. Ravens either are a sharp and ball out or show up dead like they did with the Seahawks and Jaguars. Plus it was against the best defense in the league. Flacco sucks but Ravens defense didn't play well. I watched Ed Reed drop two picks, could have had three. I don't see the Ravens coming out playing like that next weekend

for everyone making the whole, "who have the pats beat this year" argument, and it's a fair one, what major offense have the ravens shut down? maybe the texans back early in the year when schaub was still playing (mind you, no andre johnson and a still injured foster). the chargers hung 34 on them. they can be thrown on. it's all about offensive line play for the pats. and if you spread them out, how many guys can they really rush? as was the case in our last three playoff losses, if the offensive line shows up and play average to great, we should be fine. if they %$#@ the bed and let brady get planted, we're screwed. but who covers gronk and hernandez? i would assume you have to sacrifice pass rushers/blitzers to cover them, right? maybe i'm being hopeful

defensively...rice probably goes for a 100 yards. but unless he's going for 300, it's a non issue as long as our pass protection is fine.

boldin scares the crap out of me, the rest not so much. torrey smith can only beat us if he can get over the top, IMO. and BB will NOT let that happen.

on the other side, and i know the ravens have a great D, but how can you stop gronk AND hernandez? no one has been able to figure it out yet. i love bernard pollard, but im sorry, he cant stop gronkowski.

this is a 10-14 point game. but, i dont know who is going to win.

Torrey Smith is a rookie, so I'm going to give him a pass. A lot of young WRs are scarred of getting hit. They only see 1-2 DBs or safeties in college that have speed & can hit at the college level.

As for Bouldin, he was never a burner & by the time he got the Bmore, he was starting to show the wear & tear of being so fearless across the middle for so many years. He has to rely on precise route running now & DBs to slip up in order to catch balls.

As for Lee Evans, well he's always been a one trick pony.

I like the ratbird DBs in this match up. NE doesn't have a stellar WR group, but they might have trouble with those big TEs...It's def going to be intersting to see. I think it helps the ratbirds that they won in the playoffs up there so that psycholigical edge shouldn't be there. The problem is NEs o-line. They give Brady all the time in the world & the ratbird d-line hasn't been playing too well which is something not a lot of people are talking about. Suggs was sort of quiet againts the Texans & so was Ngata. I think Ngata is playing very hurt....He's been kinda quiet for like the last 5-6 games including this past Sunday...

so local media is pretty split as far as their early predictions. however, THE LAST person in NE that i expected to pick NE to win is picking us to win....mike felger. that packers loss must have thrown him off his normal steez
