Any ECO, Next Nature or any name these shoe manufacturers come up with to be “environmentally friendly” (it’s not) shoes just means you’re paying full price or $20-$30 more than the original design to have crappy materials on ya kicks. These type of shoes not worth it unless you’re getting a discount on em.

I’ve got my promo codes ready! lol I’m just glad that the AM1 is back on NBY with new options. NBY has been dry in terms of lifestyle/retro silhouettes.

One trip to the local cobbler later, problem fixed.

Anybody else had this issue with any of their CNCPTS pairs?

Tried on one of my Heavys only, and thought the tongue was weirdly long and didn't see that in any on foot pics.

wow that sucks about the tongue is that only on that colorway people were having issue? my heavy seems fine or i got lucky...

mine do have a STRONG glue smell - which I have seen other people say the same.

My pair of mellows has the tongue problem. One seems longer than the other. On foot you see it. And the longer tongue will move to the side when worn. Laced up the shoes to top eyelet and it’s less a bother.

Think I dig Concepts so much because I actually really fool with a lot of classic and alternative rock music so I can appreciate what they did with them. These shoes are a nice ode/homage to all of that. I like the story and concept just as much as I like how they look. Just my .2. Pattas are super dope too though. Had to have them as well.

Concepts for me. I just love everything about them from the materials to the arrangement of the different patterns.

It’s mostly the use of unique materials (especially the bovine fur) that do it for me. It’s not the usual clock in the 9 to 5 play it safe boring solid colorway.

Yeah the tongue on my right shoe was like an inch higher than the left. Lace loop in the center was even wrong. I couldn’t stop looking at the shoe in disbelief.

Took it to the repair shop the following day….. asap.

I hate the wave on them Pattas. Only Pattas I like is the Patta Denims from years back and I’m still kicking myself for passing on those! Love the Concepts Collab. They . I like the denim on those and all my pairs have good denim on em.

I don't hate em but I don't get the popularity. Should be super easy to be a designer these days…just design the worst thing you can think of and everyone will love em. These remind me of that Simpsons episode where homer gets to design a car( The Homer )and it immediately makes the car company go right out of business. These are The Homer car but in shoe form…

People clowned hard on both of them too until the turn after release day, now they’re considered the collabs of the year

Oh he did! He designed the car to be lined with shag carpet. Doesn’t get any better than shag carpet lol

The one recycled AM1 I can think of was so uncomfortable I returned them. They were like wearing plastic water bottles which is probably what they were made from . Too bad because it had a zig zag stitch swoosh and good color blocking.

Facts. Same way I felt about the hyperfuse air max 1s a couple years back. I got rid of them because they were uncomfortable and stiff due to all the recycled plastic construction
