How did she mange to get out? we saw her get cut down in front of everyone, and the wound was real because she still had it last chapter. So many questions.
I also like how Oda is keeping the proper play structure going by making act 2 all about expositions and plot buildup for the incoming climax.

I think home boy that "cut" her is part of the rebels.

I think the cut we saw last week was from Komazu. I think Kyoshiro probably gave her a shallow cut or something similar to what Ryuma in Thriller Bark did to Nami, Chopper, and Brook where he fake cut them and caused them to pass out.. He did tell her to prepare herself, which was a cue to act dead.

Yeah I could see that. I just know Oda doesn't care about stuff like that when it comes to advancing the plot. I think he said he cares more about emotional stakes and iOda loves Zoro so I know he didn't see this as a negative portrayal. We did see that same injury when Luffy got require a blood transfusion. But yeah this is more of a plot advancing thing cause I thought Zoro would be fine and would turn around and fight with Gyuki, unless the blade had poison or something.

I definitely get why people could be upset about it. For me I've started caring less about stuff like that and more how the story overall goes. But Oda has been getting I guess less structured and more free with the fights that can be frustrating.

They don't even show the cooking process or talk about the food anymore. They might cause Soma's about to battle. Also everything revolves around the Nakiri family. We just had an arc about their family drama and now we're getting another one. Feels like the author is rushing to end the series. Oh and the introduction of super powers is ridiculous.
