OP and NG are out.
OPAwakening? Of course there has to be a new devil fruit power level now that Luffy powered up.
The question now is, how any people have "awakened" that have been introduced without us knowing?
Sasuke's an even bigger deadbeat than I originally thought. Dude had a cellphone and apparently could never be bothered to call home, but he kept in basic contact with Naruto Knocked somebody up then dipped real quick like "Nah fam, you ain't gonna tie me down".
I was also immediately reminded of crocodile's powers in alabasta. How everything he touched turned to sand and even how he could literally split the desert in half.OP and NG are out.

The question now is, how any people have "awakened" that have been introduced without us knowing?Prior to this we had only actually seen awakening with the zoan guards of Impel down. It makes sense Doffy is awakened though since he's had his DF for about 30 years. Also Kuzan and Akainu are probably awakened and it explains the permanent climate changes on Punk Hazard. The only other possible people we've seen awakened would be at Marineford, the problem there is everyone was restricted. The Whitebeard pirates couldn't use anything too devastating until Ace was free and the marines couldn't because it would damage marineford too much. Also we saw Doffy use his Awakened powers in chapter 780, we just didn't know it at the moment. Also is chopper's monster point just forced awakening? I'd like to see Robin awakened and actually have some damn fights.
Anyway
Awakening is the most interesting thing introduced in the Chapter. Doffy was a well of information throughout the arc. I thought the final attack was lackluster, but the fight needed to end and honestly expected to be reminiscent of Luffy vs Blueno once Luffy hit gear 4 anyway. Luffy wasn't outclassed prior so a boost was going to put him over the top. Kinda tired of Bazooka finishers as well. I hope that last one broke doffy's glasses tho. Doffy and Luffy might have 1 more chapter left in them, but I don't mind if it's done either. Also what does Doffy going down do to what Zoro and Franky had planned for the Bird Cage?
I'm hoping Sabo vs Burgess doesn't become a full scale fight either and that he gets a call from Blackbeard telling him to return and then some world building can happen and the arc moves on. Also it looks like Burgess has a sack of Smiles on his back to give to blackbeard.
Another interesting concept the fact that Haki can be overused. I wonder what the effects of that are. Maybe he won't be able to use haki for a set period of time ala Rayleigh at the auction house.
Gear 4 has a time limit and Doffy confirmed it had risks. It seems Doffy took the time to learn his powers and always avoid pushing them to cause health risks to himself while Luffy rushed learning his powers and now it's becoming detrimental.
I wish Riku's speech was better. It was basically just a summary of what's been going on. But all the Dressrosa natives have been lackluster so a lackluster speech is about their level, except I still like Viola more than the rest. The biggest benefit however is that the whole country knows who is defeating Doflamingo and helping them, which means less chance of a cover up like in Alabasta, where only the marines and the royal family/guard knew who stopped Croc. I'm also hoping Absalom is out at sea watching Sanji fight big mom's ship and reports on it, like he did with the Kidd x Hawkins x Apoo alliance so everybody can get bounty updates all at once.
Fuji found the kid in the bear shirt, but still have been just chilling most of the arc.
Once this arc is completely finished I'll go back and marathon it. But as of now the big things that'll come from it off the top of my head are, Kaido no longer will trade the weapons he was making on Scotch's island for SMILES, which means the some warring countries won't get their weapons. Which benefits Prodence and Kanokuni and the Revs. Kaido will be angry with Law and the Strawhats. Luffy gains allies and a new loyal kingdom in time for the Reverie, where Fuji plans to put in motion the abolition of the warlord system. All the underground brokers will be gunning for Luffy as well with his name ringing out in the new world, although I'd be interested in seeing Law take up the Joker mantle. Obviously Big mom's ship vs Sanji, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Kid alliance stepped in an helped Sanji since Big mom seems to be their target. We found out about some huge secret at Marijois, Jinbe hopefully brings the Poneglyph he found to Robin, and X Drake is taking Caribou to Kaido, who will then probably find out Shirahoshi is Poseidon. I'm sure there's more in there as well.
I was also immediately reminded of crocodile's powers in alabasta. How everything he touched turned to sand and even how he could literally split the desert in half.
Those comments at the end are written by the editor not Oda, so who knows.OPSo is Doffy dead? At the end of the chapter it said Luffy delivered a "fatal blow"

Never forget Enel da gawd restarting his own damn heartThose comments at the end are written by the editor not Oda, so who knows. Also, dont forget that Law gave him a pretty grievous injury, only to have Doffy repair it with string, so I wouldn't count him out just yet.
Even when they die, they dont. A staple of the big 3.Never forget Enel da gawd restarting his own damn heart

I just think my issue was that I saw Kaori's character is very cliched so there was never any emotional attachment. I didn't care what happened to her. But that aside everything else was great. Arima was a boss's and I wish the show could've focused more on the music and himYour Lie in April
Took me way longer than it should have, but this series was on point. Easily one of the best anime i've ever seen in regards to the overall story, the individual characters, and the dialogue between them all. The top notch animation and music were just icing on the cake.
This was my biggest issue as well, I couldn't vibe with her then when it started straying away from the music to be about those two it lost me completely.I just think my issue was that I saw Kaori's character is very cliched so there was never any emotional attachment.
