Bentley with REAL DIAMOND painted hood
sick.gif

This car had 32 layers of 101-carat diamond paint, an innovative new product seamed by Swiss company Luxury Refinish, the only international supplier of surface finishing using grounded diamonds straight from the mine. It took few months to bedazzle the car’s bonnet with malleable size diamonds but large enough to retain their brilliance. After this Luxury Finish applied a coat of varnish on the Bentley Continental GTC’s bonnet applied to each diamond filament, which measure only 50 micrometers in size. There is meticulous effort taken to add a thin layer to the surface to ensure the diamonds are spread evenly.

When Timbaland decided to seek payment from his insurance company over a missing $1.8 Million watch, the company behind the expensive watch didn't believe his story. Now, Timbo is going from hopefully getting paid to getting accused of insurance fraud.
According to TMZ, the super producer filed a lawsuit against American Home Assurance Company claiming his 2-year-old daughter lost his Jacob & Co. watch containing 30 carats of diamonds.

In legal documents obtained by TMZ, A.H.A.C. claims it doesn't owe Timbaland any money and stated the following reasons why:

-   Timbaland bought the watch for $900,000 but insured it for twice the purchase price.

-   Timbaland reported the watch stolen ... but 4 months later claimed his daughter misplaced it.

-   Everyone involved told a different story ... the wife implicated another female, the assistant implicated the maid, the maid only copped to sleeping with Timbaland's brother-in-law and the brother-in-law refused to cooperate.  No one ever mentioned the daughter losing the watch, like Timbaland belatedly claimed.

Timbaland filed the lawsuit against American Home Assurance Company in December. The suit claimed Timbo paid over $50,000 to take out a policy in May 2010.

Timbaland recently released his latest album, teaming up with Justin Timberlake for The 20/20 Experience back on March 15th.

He has plenty of money, why does he need to do this type of stuff. :{

Let's do some analysis on The Hundreds chain

Cost - $3,115,000

Specs

26,000 grams of 18k gold

16 - 1 carat VS1 Diamonds

2090 - 0.24 to.034 carat VVS1 Diamonds

13 days - Construction time

Costs

Highest price of gold in the past 6 months:

58$ per gram

Source: http://www.goldprice.org/spot-gold.html

26,000 * 58*(0.75) = $1,131,000

Diamonds

Average costs of 1 Carat VS1 E Diamond (16 stones):

$4500 Retail

Average cost of 0.30 Carat VVS1 Diamond E (2090 Stones)

$550 Retail

Total Retail Cost:

1,149,500

Source: http://www.pricescope.com/diamond-search-results

Labour

$25 per hour for highly experienced jeweller

Source: http://www.indeed.com/forum/job/bench-jeweler/typical-bench-jeweler-salaries/t10809

Assuming 10 people are working on it 24 hours a day for all 13 days

Add 10k in additional overhead fees

Total Labour cost:

$88,000

Estimated Total Cost: $2,368,500

Ben Baller Premium (Profit): $746,000

As you can see I used the most generous price estimates possible using the highest gold price in the past 6 months and using retail prices for the diamonds (thus a profit margin is already built in to them).  Though I think since Ben Baller is a world class jeweller he is probably not paying retail prices for diamonds.  I also assumed all the non solitaire 1 carat diamonds were 0.3 carats VVS1 E color since the spec list them as between .24 and .34 carats.  I also assumed he was going to us top of the line labour with 10 people working on it 24/7 for the entire 13 days it takes to make the chain.  I also added another 10k in misc overhead fees just in case.

Based on my estimates, the total cost of the chain is $2,368,500 dollars.  You can see based on my assumptions, the chain's actually cost is most likely much lower.  Nonetheless, even based on this very generous cost estimate, this means Ben Baller charged a $746,000 thousand dollar premium for this chain. I'm not saying thats a rip off like the Hundreds' guy said, but it does seem a tad expensive.

Chris Bosh is missing $340k in jewelry ... after burglars struck his Miami home early this morning while the NBA star was out celebrating his birthday ... this according to police.

Miami Beach PD says Bosh called cops around 12:30 AM after he and his wife returned to their pad after partying at a nightclub in South Beach and noticed their house had been ransacked.

According to cops, Bosh noticed a jewelry drawer was open and several expensive items were missing -- including watches, rings and purses.

Fortunately, cops say the bad guys didn't take the Miami Heat star's NBA championship ring.

Cops say there was no sign of forced entry and they're currently trying to meet with anyone who has access to Bosh's home.

Story developing ...

the car looks like it has glued on swarovski crystals

Which wouldve probably been better for an "iced out" remote control car for a child. But hey, it's his money......................................

What happened to..
"thinking bout how they spend 30million dollars on airplanes, when there's kids starvin"

100grand for a toy car is ridiculous no matter how much money you have.
