spot at 33 a gram is raw 14k gold.
47 a gram is avg price after jeweler markup and labor.
They can’t just sell you a chain at spot price, because they would be taking a huge loss when you factor in labor

You aint buying from a jewelry store though. You’re buying used from a personal owner. Why would he take a labor charge as if they made the chain themselves? Even refineries or pawn shops aint paying you what you paid for labor

Market ain’t too bad on new DJ’s. I can get a new 41, 2 tone, Jubilee, fluted bezel, champagne dial for $14.4k as of a week ago, retail it would be $14,177 with tax from Rolex. I didn’t price a Wimbledon, but should be around the same.
Tempted to sell mine for $12k and get a Jubilee, new watch/new casing and bigger power reserve

finally got my larger st michaels pendant and I'm keeping it that's why I took the tag off compared to the last pics...fits my mariner chain perfect and looks good on my cuban but I'll keep the jesus on there cuz of that one biggie line lol... rocking all three chains is a lot of weight... I might wear all three but will prally tuck it in... I use to wear both my chains on all the time but I might just wear the mariner joint alone for now..
