i would agree with you, but here's the problem. it doesn't matter if you're in the hood or the suburbs, you will hear 'Ye. you really think a hip-hop head is gonna bump some Bieber or Gaga? HELL NO. you got people who like rock playing 'Ye, electro playing 'Ye etc...Gaga and Bieber may run POP music, but don't confuse POP music and the teenage/girl fanbase with having respect musically across all genres...

Actually Gaga's tour is over and she's taken a back seat due to working on her new album. Aside from the meat dress and purse she hasn't been making as much noise as Kanye. And that's not to say she can't and won't soon but as of right now Kanye is the main attraction of the 2. And you make a good point with Beiber but let's be real he's not the FACE OF MUSIC. He may be more popular (only cause there's so many kids) but at the end of the day you look at who's making the most noise in music and has most critic's ears it's kanye. Critics, magazines, blogs, social networks don't care about Beiber's next single. They care about the mania he causes and the extreme fandom. More people are concerned with Kanye's next song, next performance, next surprise on stage show, etc etc. That's why Kanye is the face of music CURRENTLY! You dont have to be Michael Jackson to be the face of music.

Oh so you consider the title like "the face of music" as something that changes weekly/monthly on the whim of media coverage and critics due to the artist actively promoting their album and/or tour along with w/e else they're suppose to be doing when they're doing their job.
