Maybe you have a different value. People love Jordan XX8's, despite the problems with the air bag. That doesn't take away from their performance.So they aren't perfect if it's still remains to be seen.
That remains to be seen about the Flyknit.
Now which would you assume is the better basketball sneaker?
people also don't call the xx8 a perfect basketball shoe. the 8 definitely wasn't a perfect shoe. the EM ripped and the soles bottomed out. they performed cool for a couple weeks then that was that. a shoe like that cant be perfect considering its significant downfall.
at this point, who knows which one is better but cosmetically, the fliyknit looks better to me and I honestly haven't followed the highs enough to know if the material rips or not.
the 9 EM low looks bad vs the 8 IMO and it feels like the didn't really go hard with the design for it.
