Can anyone please recommend me an external hard drive for my Mac? I'm upgrading to Snow Leopard and need one for Time Machine.
I'm currently thinking about purchasing this Western Digital (WDBAAU0015HBK-NESN).
It appears reliable, judging by what I've read from user's.
Also, what do you guys think about Seagate FreeAgent Go drives? I might also purchase that as well, for my own use. Reviews for these are mostly positive, though there are quite a few who claim that they stop functioning after a few months.

if you don't mind a plastic case, WD Passports are relatively inexpensive and reliable provided you take care of them.

Officially a part of the mac family. Got the 13" MBP.
I dont think anyone can help me, but its worth atry. I have a canadian keyboard and want to use a hungarian one, but when I switch it I dont ha a zero at all. I tried fn "m" which should solve my problem but it desnt work. How can I program it or somehting? Any tips?

Get a HD with firewire 800 if you can. its twice as fast as usb 2.0 it cost more but i think its worth it

I just got a MacBook Pro a few days ago ($1,000 + tax for a 13" not bad imo), this thing is pretty damn cool.
How do you change your icons and whatnot? Can anyone direct me to a website, im pretty sure I could figure it out from there.

How exactly do you work candybar and deviantart? Just grab an icon from deviantart and drag it? I dont wanna mess nothing up.

Go to deviantart and search for whatever icons you want. Download and save those icons. Then simply drag and drop the icons you want to replace the OGs with. Then click Apply on top. You will probably need to log in and log back out of your account in order for the icons to change. And yes, you won't mess anything up. There's an option to fully restore OG icons as well.

A question. IS Airport express really worth it? It probably costs 3 times as much as a router, but is there a point of purcasing it instead?
