Yeah I just took my AFQOT, waiting for my results. But I have to wait till September too see when they will be excepting officers that are not trying to be Pilots . I know they are doing a crazy downsize for the AF. But I feel good about my test, just don't want to wait a Year + to become an officer.
Alright, yeah AF ALWAYS had there choice of 'recruiting' now since ALL military are filled up, Like the army, if becoming an officer, you go to OCS school, and they choose your MOS for  you upon graduating...  Yeah this isnt gonna happen in a quick moment. its gonna take some time man, especially for an officer slot. IDK how it is with AF, but Im sure there gonna milk it, and see what other applicants there are. hope everything works out man,

if you dont me asking... whats your degree in? and did you always wanna join the military when you were in college?
I actually graduate from the University of Maryland in Computer Science. Im currently working for google for their Internal Tech residency program. Just so tired of sitting behind a desk I want an adventure in my life besides the same old partying I do after work. Yeah I always wanted to join but went the college route.

Yeah, that looks perfect in what I want to do. Haven't really done any research on Navy Officers but I did hear that they do have the best bases. Only thing is I don't want to be stuck on a ship for months at a time? Do you know how that process works?

Thinking about joining the reserves, but the branch I haven't decided on yet.

I'm really intrigued by the Army reserves, but it looks like the Nat'l Guard has more job opportunities (broader). I would also probably try and go to OCS after Basic since I have my Bachelor's that should sweeten any bonus right?

Does anyone have any info or suggestions?

You can ask your local recruiters for more info, but beware. They tend to lie more than a murderer on trial.
I'm positive if you have your bachelor's degree, you could go to OCS from the beginning.

here's a site that you look into Army reserves:

Thanks for the link. I'll check it out. I've actually done a lot of research already and I do plan on talking with a recruiter.

I should have clarified though. I made a post a few days ago, but no answers

I wanted to get the opinion of NT so I don't get filled with any BS that the recruiters might try and pull on me. I don't need to join the military or anything, so If it isn't what I like, I won't go. They don't have leverage from that aspect, but I really think it would be great to serve my country. I just need it to be worth it.

Yeah if you want to get into OCS school, you still have to go to basic and GET OCS IN YOUR CONTRACT. dont think waving around your degree is the golden ticket it isnt, and you have to take a test prior on going OCS, its either pass or go home.

The reserves and the nat'l guard are very different in a lot of ways (for better and worse) as well as different units are very different from type to type, the best thing I could tell you is to find a Soldier or unit nearby (I don't know what state you are from) and ask to hang out during a drill weekend.
