It would take a perfect storm on their part, but maybe Porzingis to the Celtics is a fail, Dame never makes it to Miami, and Middleton can't recover.

The only way the Sixers make it to the finals is if Nurse turns Maxey into a 28ppg player, Jaden Springer into Avery Bradley (not happening), and makes Paul Reed take a leap.

Harden isn’t the key to anything. That series against Boston is the best we will ever see him in deep playoff runs.

Making Maxey a primary scorer may be the best thing for Embiids playoff performance or lack thereof.

What is the deal with FIBA scheduling? The semifinal of the World Championships in 2006 (the aggravating USA-Greece game) was around midnight Pacific time. The gold medal game in 2008 was at midnight as well. The semis (for Team USA) and final are at 5:40 AM. Japan and Beijing are within one hour of Philippine time (Beijing is the same). I get they want the games in prime time locally, but they always make exceptions when it comes to Team USA.
