The Official NBA Season Thread: Free Agency Day

It's funny how true this is. I lived in Dallas for about 2 years and the property taxes were absolutely insane. Plus they're tolls everywhere. People think they're getting a great deal because the lack of income tax but, trust me, the government still gets their money.

They say this every few days as we see other key guys around the league getting extensions with none of this fuss or constant updates

We only heard about the Scottie, Bam, Maxey and Cade deals once they were announced or legit hours in advance, still don't see the point of all these reports if it really is that close

[Jackson] “…an NBA official who has spoken to the Heat said Miami continues to say that while it wants to improve the team, it believes it has a roster good enough to contend if healthy. That’s seemingly impossible to prove or disprove, because they’re rarely fully healthy.”

Can't rely on Himmie to be healthy. At this rate, he's on average to miss like 25+ games a season

Lol it’s crazy how talking points are quickly aggregated by media folks like Mannix just purely on speculation.

One of the afternoon radio programs here in MA brought up that same idea of having some rich casino tycoon building a Celtics arena next to the Encore casino in Boston as the news broke out.

This is why I don’t invest in property in the state of Texas.

CA is still the way to go when it comes to purchasing investment homes and maximizing equity in less than 10 years of ownership for the sole purpose of selling and cashing out. Ntm doing a 1031 to avoid capital gains. The rental market in Cali is always booming cause we got jobs here, more than just about any other state save for maybe New York

Just paid mine for the year in North Dallas... Threw up in my mouth.

Keeps getting worse cuz morons keep buying houses for way more than they're actually worth and blowing comps outta the water.

At least income taxes remain relatively static... Can pretty damn well count on my annual 10% increase for property taxes lately.

I’m glad the Lakers didn’t sign Klay,JV, or Harden.

Playoff Harden,enough said.

Klay went of 0/10 in the biggest game of his teams season and can’t move on defense. He does that in Lakerland he’s getting 2020 Danny Green treatment from the fanbase.

JV would’ve been unplayable come playoff time and I love JV.

NickFolarin NickFolarin should be ashamed of himself
