Seeing this melee breakout and remembering the Suns logo in the middle of the floor and realizing this is where the Greg Anthony rule originated from.

The "seatbelt" rule was implemented after the 1994 season. The Greg Anthony brawl was in Spring 1993. There were many incidents that led to the rule, so calling it the Greg Anthony Rule isn't really accurate. There was a crazy Hawks-Heat fight in the 1994 playoffs that was the last straw. Also, I did not know this, but getting two flagrant fouls was not an automatic ejection until that off-season as well (Flagrant 2 was still an automatic ejection though). Also, why has this fight never been shown on fight reels?

Can't find the clip, but when Greg Anthony was on Inside the NBA on TNT as a guest, they played the clip and were laughing about it and someone said with that ugly shirt he had on, that's why it was named the Greg Anthony rule or something to that affect.

Not the clip I'm looking for but Chuck alludes to it here. 1:40 mark.

jpzx jpzx coming off his late night drunk posting benders don’t mind him
That is correct lol, but I didn’t mention Watson— amongst the most embarrassing athletes in professional sports, because that’s like having to mention Matt Gaetz when talking about politicians. On the playing field/court, Embiid is a joke. And it’s been that way for a while.

The commentary of the Anthony fight sold it, but it had clearly become a point of contention in the NBA. The announcers in that Atlanta-Miami fight emphasized the players leaving the benches, and how there was nothing to stop them. Stern dropped the hammer that off season, but it was the Knicks-Heat fight with Stern in attendance in 1997 that led to a LOT of changes.

Magic could neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Magic, Zeke, Nash, CP3, stockton, kidd..

The media never tried to reclassify them.

Nobody ever said they were shooting guards because they were mid *** scorers, besides Zeke. He averaged 19 a game for his career. They couldn't be anything else. There have been some other tall pg's. Nobody tried to say they were SF's. Nobody says draymond or Bron are PG's even if they play it. They don't call Joker a PG. Just a 'Center with PG skills'.

Steph average 25-5-7 for his career, and he's closer to 6'4 in reality than how he's listed.

(Just for additional thoughts, D.Rose mvp season, he averaged 25-4-7. Nobody said he should be a 2 guard)

Steph is that much better than his peer point guards, past and present.

it's sad that folks really let their dislike for steph and the warriors prevent them from appreciating just how special this man has been on the court since that 2015 title. really is 1 of 1.

Nah that was him asking him not to get him fired.

'now, you may hear some things, that I allegedly said in the post game interview....but they twisted my words and that audio is a.i......i wouldn't do that. Memba I said we could be like Phil and Mike? Brown Fox.

Please...I bought mad Christmas gifts for my wife and kids and I'm flying my shorty out for nye'
