Serious question...
What did we see from ayton?
He's not a physical center, the suns wanted him to be. When he didn't/couldn't/wouldn't they made him the scapegoat for suns failures and benched him.
If you want him to be more than what he is, there will be issues. But if you're ok with his style of play, how much of an issue could he be?
I'm sure there's more to it than that...
But it seems like the issue is not totally on him.
