He was an ok defender. At least on the team side. He got barbecued guarding all time greats but maybe that was a monty thing.

Mavs have such a bleak outlook
They have no cap space
They have no choice but to offer Kyrie the max
The only pick they can trade other than #10 is a 2027
The only positive value player to trade is maybe Maxi other than their young guys in Green and Hardy
Wood is probably gone for nothing
Ugly
I want OG, Siakam, Turner/Buddy as "realistic" guys who are available. I doubt those teams want anything back from DAL though

When teams lose this mindset they’ll be in a better place. They got enough of the experiment to see it didn’t work and probably won’t next season.
