It’s not uncommon to have that stipulation or bonus in a contract. Like an extra million or so. Plenty of people have it. The way this tweet is worded makes it seem as if the Nets are tying up a lot of money with that stipulation. However, this is coming from Haynes who is clearly getting things from Kyrie’s camp and they want to make the Nets look bad.

What’s more likely is money being tied to games played, since he hasn’t played many games for the Nets the last 4 seasons. He probably believes a player like him should have a fully guaranteed contract with no minimum games played clause.

It might be like the Eric Gordon contract where if they don't win the chip in the first x years of the contract, the last year becomes non-guaranteed.
 
I understand having stipulations but that of winning it all is wild. At least make it 4 PTO days for the season and you get an extra day for each month without Twitter shenanigans
 
This Kyrie **** gotta be exhausting, dude never knows what he wants it seems like. Look at his track record. Used to be a Christian, claimed native Indian roots and heritage and then stated he’s an Australian Aboriginal. Became Muslim, believed the earth was flat after watching 30 minutes of YouTube videos, believes he’s an original Jewish Hebrew Israelite. Didn’t wanna play with Lebron because ****** was calling him his father. Told the world he was gonna resign with the Celtics. Reneged on that and forced a trade to Brooklyn cause Tatum and Brown emerged as stars and proceeded to **** on Boston in the process. Begged KD to come to Brooklyn in what was later recorded in a video and proceed to lie about it. Held out on playing because he refused to take the vaccine, causing Brooklyn to lose games and hurt their playoff standing. Now wants to be traded 5 days before the deadline lmfao
