The D'Antoni system was "give the ball to Steve 98% of the time and run a million pick and rolls"
It was a smart idea, but people act like he was performing some dark secret magic.
The same player as far as? Explain.
What about on the defensive end? How similar are they there? Both great shooters, ran pick and roll, pass first…
Y’all act like it’s a travesty to compare Nash to Stockton. That’s who he is
What about on the defensive end? How similar are they there?
In terms of physicality, how do they compare?
What would your Top 10 PGs list look like finessence ?
I can’t speak on Tiny or Clyde but not having Nash at least on the back half of that list when he has as much MVPS combined as the whole list is crazy
ADVERTISEMENTLillard more of a SG/tweener IMO. Don’t know where to put buddy
Stockton and Malone didn’t run pick and rolls..? But him and Steve aren’t the same?
…. Says the guy who didn’t even acknowledge Zeke or a guy like Tiny Archibald as some of the top offensive PGs
Because Zeke's offensive impact pales in comparison to Oscar, Magic, Nash, and Curry.
Pistons were built on defense and depth, they were a very good offensive team. But not top of the league good like Oscar, Magic, Nash and Curry in their primes.
Nash literally averaged 14ppg. Please use context when discussing this guy
