I have an issue with it. I don’t like alcohol being mixed with sports either. So that tells you where I am.

But it was really trippy how gambling went from being taboo with dudes keeping it a secret with their bookies - to it being plastered everywhere and every second during every sports event on the planet.

It was instant.
That’s life/capitalism for you, a few business ppl and folks in charge arbitrarily decide what’s acceptable or not and the rest of us gotta live with the consequences…Liquor was illegal for a while but now it’s not a problem, same with weed etc

They might be selling yayo at dispensaries 40 years from now if they can figure out how to keep most of the profits and shape public opinion :lol :{

**** the snow they gotta free K

some of that criticism feels like an agenda to erode his "mystique"

So let me get this straight...holding Luka to the same standards as other all-time greats he get's put into conversations with is an agenda to erode his "mystique"?

Like I said before the season started, Luka's grace period is up. This season and every season after he is at the top of the #NoExcuses list and I expect him to be in the MVP conversation and playing deep in the playoffs every year.

If that's an unrealistic expectation it's time to stop putting him in those talks with all-time greats.

I’m not a Spurs expert. But I can’t see why Spurs fans hate Sochan.

I get it now and it only took two games.
Do you recall that individual who was a staunch supporter and advocated for him, even urging their organization to select him? It's reminiscent of someone shedding tears when Mudaiy wasn't chosen by the Knicks.

Have you ever tuned into European streams? It's quite concerning how they frequently feature gambling-related ads, even during content that seems unrelated, like curling, where cyber casinos and such are prominently advertised.

Meh both OG & Pascal are elite defenders but methinks Spicy is the better fit as there are times when he can takeover your offense. Those times when Embiid is tired and falling on the floor even more than usual.

What kind of jump he want to see when they have a well oiled machine already lmao

No point in forcing things outside the offense. He may very well still get All NBA at this rate

He's shooting 50/50/100 splits on a career high PPG

He aint the one that needs to take the leap for this team to repeat. All eyes on CB, come playoff time Reggie needs to be in his bag. Peyton Watson is an interesting player as well.
Id like to see him take a leap as a player because I like seeing Canadian players improve and make all star teams.

And so I'd love to see Jamal make the jump from very good player top 30 player to more elite all NBA level

I didn't say "oh the Nuggets can't win if he doesn't get better". They literally just won the title.

he's an excellent player in today's NBA. attempting to downplay his play due to fan opinion smells funny

I don’t recall.

I recall most Knicks fans wishing they drafted Mudiay instead of Zinger tho. That’s true. I was cool with the Zinger pick tho.

i don't see your points as hate. just silly and transparent. any attempts to chip away at jokic is just childish at this point

and luka isn't an all time great, but you're working hard to convince others that it's the general consensus so you can keep going

I am not trying to police anyone on what makes sense for their own situation but I find the gambling thing not cool.

Are Raptors fans really that delusional about OG? I was trying to have a level headed discussion with them on Reddit (bit mistake) and they're seriously asking me this:

"Do you think 3 FRP + swaps + J.Springer + K.Martin + expiring (M.Morris+F.Korkmaz) for OG + T.Young is enough for them to give up Anunoby?"
