They had FOUR players on the defensive glass, as you should in that scenario.

So you have to immediately secure the board and INSTANTLY get it to your point or whoever else can put enough touch on the fullcourt pass. The Hawks did neither and that was immediately clear when Collins got the board.

The head coach, especially run who ran point for 12 years and coached for another 14, should be able to instantly make that read and call the timeout.

Sounds like he predetermined that he was gonna run after a miss, which again isn’t the best route considering you already have to crash the glass in that scenario.

Long winded way of saying, yet another poor coaching move from this guy.

It’s so frustrating man especially when you notice the players didn’t really move for like 1.5 seconds after the rebound cause they where all expecting the timeout just like the rest of us

This many people averaging 30ppg on that efficiency is absurd.

The fact that PHA has the highest FG% out of the 4 (at damn near 60% at that) when one of the others is a center in Embiid and a player who lives in the post in Yanni is "mind bottling".

Not to mention the fact that he does his damage primarily from midrange and beyond and is a few years removed from a potentially career ending injury.

Mans is a basketball unicorn.....a mercurial one, but a unicorn nonetheless.
