This is hard

A lot to say when Jordan Poole was playing bad, now its crickets. I see how they move elpablo21 elpablo21

JP is gonna be fine. Year one in Washington started off terribly but he’s played with more control and better shot selection the last month. Cut down on the over dribbling and the dumb 28’ three point attempts. His pull up middy off the screen is butter.

Fwiw, like many of us predicted, him and kuzma are a terrible fit —can’t have two players who want to run iso on a team that has no offensive rhythm or identity. Both just tried to do hero ball when they got the rock.

What he was billed as vs what we’ve seen in the league is night and day. He’s no Ja, Westbrook, John Wall or D. Rose…

From the current eye test, he’s been average athletically. Plenty dudes have metrics that they’re label with, before they get to the league. He’s had a full year against elite talent. (Not saying he won’t improve) but he and Bronny are both about 6’2” 200. The athleticism just hasn’t been there.

If you’re that small, you at least need to be Avery Bradley. If Bronny can be a Avery Bradley type, then cool

Again Ja, Westbrook, John Wall, Drose are literally some of the most athletic humans to ever play basketball...saying Bonny is "average" because he doesn't meet that standard is unfair.

Bonny was in a dunk contest. He's not an "average" athlete.

Above average to elite, in the range of Alex Caruso or better.

Bronny is 2 years from being 2 years away with that said i can see him being a more athletic, less annoying Pat Bev

^^^ Russ’s athleticism and speed are holding up pretty impressively for his age. Still not to many guys in the NBA who get up the court as quickly as he does. Of course, since his finishing ability doesn’t match his speed, his bursts to the basket sometimes lead to lay-ups missed in comedically terrible fashion. Still, guy is a hell of an athlete.

If you’re talking about the Mavs would you even blink if he replaced Alex Fudge? Olivier-Maxence Prosper? Brandon Williams?
Brandon Williams averaged 13 as rookie last season. Bronny scored over 13 once last season

Again could he make it? Maybe. But he’s not an nba player today

Still way too early to project any kind of NBA career for Bronny, at least based on what we saw at USC. He should stay in school for now...if you're not a can't-miss prospect then there's still value in playing CBB for a few years. Even if he is projected to be a role player, it's not easy being a 19-22 year old and learning that type of role on top of still developing the skills that any young player would have at that age. Meanwhile you're competing with grown men/vets for the same minutes and a lot of coaches wouldn't even trust an inexperienced player to fulfill that role. Even in this draft, scouts are going to find some non-lottery/round 2 prospects who could resemble a Caruso/PatBev/GP2 that they think would be more NBA-ready than Bronny now.

This. His athleticism has contributed to his longevity. Dude is still spry as hell

They say modern hoopers more skilled….
Every NBA team got bums tho

I never said he’s guaranteed to be a star. I’m just saying he could make a roster, even if it was off pure nepotism.

His dad is rumoured to try to be part of a Las Vegas expansion. You don’t think he’d have room for him as like a 10-15th man?

He couldn’t make it on the Wiz, Hornets, Pistons, Spurs, Blazers today?

He couldn’t be a 2way on the Lakers?

**** I would take him over Jalen McDaniels on the Raptors TODAY and he get 4.5M a year.

Mo Gueye, Jordan Nwora.

Will he ever move the needle? Maybe not.
