The Official NBA Season Thread: USA Setting Up for a SFA

Ima go with darkhorse Matas for MVP. He's gonna have ample opportunity if Lavine and Demar are gone. I think his finesse style fits the league well

Maybe the Sixers should re-visit their stance on PG :nerd: Keep up with the wing-loaded Cs and Knicks.

Zach edey ROY bet let’s go
Due to his ginormity, relative newness to basketball and the typical pace of play in the NBA, I wonder whether he’ll have to conditioning to play enough to have ROY impact/numbers.

He had surprisingly great conditioning at Purdue and there's enough depth with Jackson, Clarke and Aldama to help him. 20-25 MPG off the bat, I think.

He was playing like the full 40 min when Purdue played good teams. Obviously college a much different game though.

Realistically he’s probably a 20 MPG guy in the league, but I do think he can be a difference maker. Just need to look at how important and impactful having the rotating Centers was to a team like Dallas.

Sarr’s agent steered him to Washington because he expected more usage there.

So it has to be him since ROY is usually just a ppg competition, efficiency be damned.
I guess the levels of incompetence are similar in ATL and DC but no way i’d pass up on millions to willingly play for the Wizards and have that stink on me  :smh:

Hope that decision works out for yo

SAS saying BPG wouldn’t fit the system in Golden St is so dumb

He’s a dude that can do basically anything.

And they aren’t even a playoff team

They could use the talent.

Personally Riscaher is like the 5th best prospect for me.

1. Sarr
2. Shepp
3. Castle
4. Clingan

Pretty crazy for him to be the first pick

Yeah, I'm watching highlights, reading up on some analysis, and looking at player comparisons, I just can't wrap my head around him being #1. I just don't see it.

With that said, I didn't like Ant at 1, nor did I alike Tatum at 3 (thought he was too slow for the NBA) so what do I know.
