I'm fine with the play in

I just want the NBA to make the first round 5 games again.

I actually think the first and 2nd round should be 5 games.

Conference and League finals be 7 games.

It’s all a money play. Mid-season tournament is for TV ratings. Seven game first round play off series are for more tv ratings and venue revenue. As much as we want to make it about competition, it’s about money.

I don’t have an issue with the play in. The ending of the season is more exciting and unpredictable. Which leads to interest.

The play-in is excellent for a season like this where all the teams are all bunched together record wise, the West especially.

We should extend the play-in 1-15. But instead of one or two games to get in, we make it 82 spread out over a few months. Top 8 records in each conference get in with H2H results as tiebreakers.

Only issue I have with the play-in is that they haven’t expanded it. Make the #1 seed a lock. Seeds 2-15 play for the final 7 seeds.

After the game Immediately fly to neutral arena at the midpoint of the locations of the first two games.

It should be determined by lottery balls. But if the team picked by the higher seed disagrees they should be able to shoot a do-or-die half court shot to eliminate themselves from playing said higher seed.

We need a play-out. For those teams that were just a little too good this season but still want a lottery ball. Why shouldn't the Bucks be able to acquire Wemby just because they have Giannis? It's not their fault they're running a competent organization. Playoff teams should be able to challenge non-playoff teams. Winner gets the pick, loser gets the higher seeding.
