The Official NBA Season Thread

The tape on Fultz was really, really good. Don’t think you can knock anybody for taking him based off that. Still to this day not exactly sure what happened with him in between end of college and the regular season.

Alfonzo a different story. Was pretty easy to see he had a weak handle, would shy away from contact in paint, and had no in-between game. It was all 3s and pushing the pace. Which still nets you a useful role guy, but that was clearly the likely outcome for him. Not an all-star type.

How much Lonzo do you see in your country cousin Kasparas?

I can see it a bit. He seems more comfortable (as a scorer) in PnR and inside the paint than Alfonzo based off what I’ve seen thus far.
Less athletic, the lesser defender. I think there are similarities though. Kasparas is a better passer/playmaker in the half court.

Draft twitter loves Kasparas though. I think he’s going to be good, some think great. But he’s hooping.

Probably more Hali than Alfonzo.

video is a few weeks behind but not enough chatter nationwide about how the Thunder defense is not only currently far and away #1 but on historic pace. Also they are on pace to be the first team ever to have a positive steals to turnover ratio.

Looked up and down the roster and nobody plays who is a bad or average defender except the fat rookie and I’d say JWill who is currently injured. Then maybe Joe because he’s smallish but he competes and last look was somehow leading the nba in charges drawn despite missing a chunk of games, and no I am not equating charges to good defense.

Past him probably Krich or Wiggins and up, everyone is well above average to elite at the top 7 guys. Its gonna be hard enough to penetrate them pause, but when you do they are still getting a hand in and swiping down or blocking from behind not to mention iHart or Chet coming over. Wallace for example I never seen so many live ball just pick you off the dribble “cookies” steals. I remember the Hawks game Trae was in hell, didnt even try to get the ball anymore

Really enjoyed this. Saw it when they first dropped the video but I'm really pulling for yall man. Everything yall do is ferocious. Chet going down was a blow but I hope yall get IT done. No bull.

You lose integrity when you are casually GIVING wins to teams for Those Final rounds. Increase the pay window if they want to see it be more competitive.

Charles Barkley has done more than enough on the court to say what he wants to say about anyone without his clout being questioned. You realize who Charles Barkley is right?
They lost integrity a loooong time ago :lol gambling refs, obvious favoritism, flopping, pointless "last 2 minute report". It's all entertainment anyway, plus every team will have a shot at the adjustment and it will make the worst teams fight harder, which is the point.

Thunder are young but look ready to go. Chet in and this is the only team that can really push Boston. Looking forward, Chet will continue to improve and the tax will break up Boston. Future is brighter than it was in 2012.

Presti gotta negotiate an equity stake in his next deal.
