The Official NBA Season Thread

That’s where I’m at - they let a bunch of fouls go for like 20 seconds and then finally decide to call one in a scrum like that when it’s more than likely going to be game deciding? Just doesn’t seem right. Call a foul earlier or call jump ball.
steph clearly fouled on a jumper and they swallow the whistle, but they wanna call a foul to determine the game.

But dubs executed poorly in the last three minutes. Inexcusable turnovers

Steve Kerr knows better than to ignore all of this and to blame officiating.Warriors style of play is simply not conducive to late game shotmaking and execution. They did not lose the game because of a loose ball foul.

They're so obviously the Jimmy team.

That was a weak call but the real issue is the Warriors had 90 pts with 3:03 left. They ended the game with 90 pts because Steph decided to play hero ball again.

He's been begging for LeBron to save him and tonight may have been one of those moments that will force the FO's hand to make a move.

No one is begging for Lebron. Please be serious.

I don’t like that he took that 3 with 8 or 9 left on the shot clock but it’s steph curry. He got a lot of space and he’s taking a shot he’s hit so many times in his career, you just got to live with it.

Ain’t trying to hear Kerr/Warriors of all people whining about fouls given the previous years. Maybe he should’ve been as active as Udoka was coaching instead of sitting on the bench damn near the entire game like he was waiting in line at the DMV.

Bum *** bill Kennedy calls a foul instead of the time out is crazy. Shady as hell.

Not even mad at curry shot. He got open and was in rhythm. Was it earlier than I'd like, sure, but he knows better than me when the shot feels good. If the game was reffed properly, warriors likely still win. That **** was not why they lost. Giving game winning free throws for a scramble and ignoring blatant fouls right in front of you is why they lost.

Nahhh we up all night. Furious.

This why I don't debate sports with kids. Their knowledge started with 2008 bron

You need to listen to the whole thing. Whole episode of very good storytelling.

Goes back to the point of young dudes not knowing folks even though this was a wild case of it.

But even still during the episode, Haywood was naming folks from that era and Theo Pinson had NO clue who they were and that would have only been about 10 or so years before he entered the league.

The player in question is Kwame Brown.

Whole episode.

You should know a lil bit of history.

But at the same time, a 60+ year old man going around introducing himself as Dr. J is a bit goofy.

Julius Erving suffices
