If Spurs don’t get Vic.

I think Pop retires.

I think that’s how much he’s holding onto to this.

Even if the Spurs do get him this ain't no Timmy D rookie year situation.

They'll be lucky to make the play in.

When's the last time the team with the worst record actually got the #1 pick? I know even before the flattened odds there was 10 straight years where neither the worst or 2nd worst team landed at 1

Also an interesting fact - since the lottery was instituted in 1990, eight teams have won the lottery with a 6.3% probability or less.

I’m getting Vietnam flashbacks from 2019. Put this away.
in the 2021 draft, the Thunder could have literally gotten 1 AND 5 if the chips fell correctly, instead we got 6. Granite Giddey could be having a top 2 yr from the class rn but still

2024 we also own the Rockets frp

I mean there are several ways to easily & effectively attack this scheme

Nurse needs to apply some of that defensive creativity to the other end of the floor. It’s a pretty basic offensive adjustment
I don't think it's a scheme thing as much as it is Scottie needing to be more aggressive. Lately he seems to be coasting the first half-3 quarters and then looking to score in the fourth. He's pass first almost to a fault.

Is it me or have the NBA refs been worse?

Weird that the Celtics just shot their first free throw, while the Mavs had 12 in the first quarter
