Narcos: Mexico S3

Just finished the first ep, I like where they are going with this. Some dope storylines;
A corrupt beat cop
A Kingmaker
Amado's rise

These were my 3 top gals in Netflix shows ive seen. Maid and Queens Gambit in my top 5 shows period but anyways, who yall think did the best job?

Imma go in the order I have the pics, I think Margaret Qualley did an amazing job in Maid. Was harder to pick between Emma Corrin (The Crown) and Anya Joy Taylor (Queens Gambit) but imma give it to Emma for having a more charming character, and yes I know I was asking about performance but at the end of the day you gravitate towards certain characters for who they are in the show and that I guess correlates to how the actress played em.

Not enough n-words uttered by every character on screen for his liking

Sadly this made the movie seem a little unauthentic. It needed more N words. The black girl walked into the bank and not a single nword. That is unrealistic.

Ima go with Anya then Margaret. Dunno the actress or show in the 2nd pic.

Emma Corrin playing Diana in The Crown. A little unfair as she wasnt the “main” character. Anya did an amazing job in QB, only reason im giving Margaret the nod was she was so good in Maid it didnt even seem like she was acting. Her facial expressions, tone and everything were just perfect.

I have to start S2 of The Crown.

And I agree that Qualley killed it in Maid but I prefer Anya's portrayal in Queen's Gambit. The quirky awkwardness of a shy orphan turned celebrity was unreal. It was exactly how I imagined a kid in that situation to act.

Both were damn good IMO.

I tried to start season 2 last night, but wife quickly fell asleep before the recap finished. :smh:
The Harder They Fall was a movie Tarantino would have liked to have done
Yeah he likes to drop the N word to much for all those people in that movie. Plus has he ever done a movie with an almost 90/95% black cast. I don't think he would have been able to get these same actors if he directed it. Depending on who he got instead could be a good or bad thing.
I dig that they clipped that early, like this ain't that type of western.
Agreed, I now hear it enough with this new generation don't mind a movie not saying it.

The Crown was slow and im usually fine with slow burns like that. The set was amazing and I think its the most expensive show Netflix has produced. Anyways, id just skip to the Diana season. I watched S1/2 and then half watched the rest til Diana, one of those have it on the TV, but on my phone and kinda paying attention kinda watches.

I wanted the quick draw battle, no complaints otherwise. Movie was def entertaining.
I wanted the quick draw battle, lost two dollars to my wife on that scene. She said one person would die I said the other. Homie learned a very valuable lesson all is fair in a gun battle. However I wonder if dude wanted to die later on, because I know he was faster than her.

Finally finished Squid Game, no complaints for the most part ending played out as I expected. Everything leading up to it was entertaining though, can't believe dude didn't see him pick up a handful of dirt. I know LeBron came out and said he didn't like the ending, I was expecting the MC to die. Especially when the knife was right next to the guys head, I was like oh he about to slice him up. You dodge death once, twice, movies tend to indicate you enjoy the thrill and keep going back.

I was confused on homie picking the bright red hair color though. LOL

I think all is fair in a gun battle is a cop out on a history defining contest in the context of the movie. Could a just shot him when he emptied his gun. Cherokee didnt want the smoke cuz as you saw later on in the movie he wasnt as fast as advertised. Bill saw that bullet with his name on it and got shook.

Cherokee was fast, but I think when he found out how quiet he snuck up behind him that he might be in trouble. This kid snuck up behind me without me knowing and had a bead on me, naw I ain't taking no chances. When I saw the trailer I thought that kid was dude from Snowfall.
