Agree 1000%. The more boring/mediocre colorways release, the more I consider other models and brands. I haven't bought a pair of 90s in months but I've bought 4-5 Prestos and Asics Gel Lyte 3s. Very disappointing for those of us whose go to shoe is/was AM90.

The only 90 I'm looking forward to is the flyknit Infrareds that I've seen in photos. I hope they release in Spring 2017.
One solution for me is to do IDs for 90s because these releases for the past 1-2 years have been extremely disappointing. One can barely find any 90s in FootLocker or FinishLine . It seems that Nike is moving away from the model to promote Nike Free and others but the resurgence of the AF1 is encouraging.

no the toebox is not leather, its a material what looks like a lil bit like ripstop
they also have used it on the recent cws from the Nike Air Max Plus TN
