Either dude has tiny feet or sizes down way too much. Probably a mixture of both.

It is what the term suggests.
From my understanding, it’s usually done for photographs to make the shoe look more aesthetically pleasing (ideal shoe shape) by “pushing” down toward the toe section.

What are your thoughts on the shoe? I'm tempted as it's a shoe I really like (I bought three pairs of the neon pair) but I know they'll go on sale eventually.
It might be worth doing the vid as there doesn't seem to be one on youtube as far as I can see.
