Peeps gotta understand. You either want a sleek aerodynamic toe box on foot (like most real AM heads have longed for for years) which requires soft pliable OG like material (that actually bends and folds) OR you want the boot like, banana shaped cliff toe hard material toe boxes that we’ve gotten for the last 15+ years. Pick one. Can’t have it both ways. Praying Nike doesn’t cancel this whole OG re-crafted initiative and go back to making trash AM retros on some “F it why bother?” ish

Successful company store run. Only 4 pairs of blues left and i had to mix n match to get a non trash pair, still have paint on the bubbles that ill have to fix.
Pinks weren’t as jacked but some pairs had sole separation under the wedge.
socks were a nice bonus.

People post stuff to keep others in the loop or what to expect. If you were hyped for a specific shoe and then go to find out that 6 in 10 pairs are Mangled, wouldn’t you want to know. Niketalk is a place for sharing a passion and info, if you don’t like what you see keep it moving.
I did everything possible to get the shape better but ultimately they are straight butchered.

They are wack! Compared to the shape of the OGs, they are wack man. These new ones are just better and that’s mainly because they’re shaped and built like the OG. So I’m sorry to break it to you but yes, you as well as all of us have been duped on the shape of the AM 90 for all these years up until now. It’s sucks. Yes, it hurts. We spent our money. We enjoyed them for what they were but they are just inferior now. I know you don’t want to hear that being the “desciple” that you are but you gotta move on and accept it for what it is instead of twisting yourself into to pretzels trying to explain to us that these pairs were all purchasing (directly from Nike in most cases) are actually fakes. I’m not telling you to throw your old ‘90s away or anything (I’m certainly not) but the truth is truth. It is what it is.

not am90s related, 2017 eminem AJ4, top is 99 shape reserved for athletes and VIPs etc, bottom pair is 2008 shape and was the prize for an contest, what i am trying to say is that Nike have clearly no intention to give us quality shoes with good shape, peeps in AJ4 BC thread are complaining for years about the shape and want the 99 shape but Nike give 0 fu.x

so cliff toe is OG nowadays ?? that chick and that dude at nike that did the recraft picked out the OGs with smallest amount of materials to based the retros of, i have seen and hold OGs that were much bulkier but ofcourse they are not gonna pick those because it will be more expensive to manufacure them

Sure I’ll take what your saying at face value but those shoes you posted look choked to hell and one thing I know is that loosening them up drastically improves the shape from what they look like straight out of the box so your pics don’t indicate that you “tried everything” to improve the shape even if in actuality you did. The pics indicate that you didn’t try anything, actually. Seems like you made sure to only show pics of what the shoe looked like straight out of the box which once again doesn’t tell the full story. They all look that way initially is all I’m saying. It’s just how they’re made.
Also I think everyone here knows by now that these have toe dent issues out of the box so your post is more redundant than it is helpful.

One thing I've noticed with nikes is that the smaller sizes tend to be rounded and aerodynamic whereas the bigger sizes tend to be boxy and chunky looking
A size 8 looks better than a size 12 in the same shoe

The new OG shapes 90’s are some of the best retros this year. Period. I love my volts and really hope we get an infrared. And dude up there who bought the 90 socks. Thanks for the pic. I gotta find a pair of those.

honestly, you don't have to be a scientist to see that these AM90 anni shoes are no more fake than the AM1 anniversary or the TN anniversary, all smell nike product... I find this debate completely useless
Usually i don't like (even i hate) made in indonesia air max but these are like the others nike shoes from indonesia no more no less (just compare the AM1 anni pink from indonesia to the first china red anni, the pink look fake but they aren't fake lol)
and for the "next year the production for the 90s will get moved back to china this will prove that all you guys bought 90s that are made in a factory for reps" for me that proves absolutely nothing, I don't even understand how you can make the connection between the two, because it was the same music with the TN for example, always the factory moves, the factory changes... nothing new
