I still rocked with 18-20 to hoop in. 21 and after were cheeks but I was an OD sneakerhead at the time so I copped 21-23. Everything was a no for me.
That was really the golden era for the game. From my brief observation it seems like release cycles between retros are shorter, lots of crazy colorways and its a pain to cop. I remember when I knew I could go to Downtown Locker Room early as hell knowing I was going to have to wait but I was definitely getting my pair, no hassle
