Caruso came down to 2/20 even after the bulls came with 3/30+. Jeanie wouldn't come off of 2/15. Didn't want that tax hit. Caruso had an interview and an article published earlier this season that talked about it.
You can't just let talent walk and get nothing in return when your chasing championships. EYE would've tried to bring back Schroder too after his market dried up but that's a whole nother story.

I agree with y'all. Lakers could have just stood pat with their championship roster, added a few role players and still could've been near the top. 7-8 years ago, this would've been a lights out roster, but they're talent ain't covering this disunited line-up.
